The History
of Kernel
Founded in March 2020 by freelance web developer George Hodges, Kernel IT Services is the result of George’s lifelong passion for technology, evident since he built his first website at the age of 14.
After working in the IT sector for several years, George recognised a gap in the market for a single business that could provide a wide array of IT services. This realisation led him to embark on the journey of starting his own business. In its early stages, he operated from his residence nestled in the picturesque Blackdown Hills.
Three years later, and having relocated to Taunton, Kernel has experienced continuous growth, boasting a loyal clientele for IT support in the area and a track record of successfully launching over 23 website development projects.
